According to data released by the Department of Commerce, the US issued licensees to import 70,374 tons of rebar in October, increasing by around 70% from the September's preliminary Census Bureau count of 41,478 tons.
Among them, the import from Turkey jumped substantially by 431% from a month ago to 45,291 tons.
However, the rebar import from Mexico dropped by 27% to 21,613 tons in October.
